Florence County Emergency Medical Services is a department of Florence County government, authorized by the Florence County Council to provide emergency medical services to our county residents and visitors. We provide full Advanced Life Support on a 24 hour basis, operating seven ambulances and one quick responder station, spread out across the county. Our main efforts concentrate on the metropolitan areas of Florence and Lake City, and the towns of Pamplico, Johnsonville, and Olanta.
